Hire terms (summary)

The following is a high-level summary. A full hire agreement will be issued with each confirmed booking and should be read carefully before equipment or specimens leave our custody.

Condition and use

Items are hired in the condition recorded at dispatch. Hirers must use reasonable care, follow handling instructions, and ensure suitable insurance is in place for the replacement value stated on the hire paperwork.

Deposits and cancellation

We may require a deposit before confirming a hire. Cancellation and refund terms depend on notice period, preparation work already carried out, and whether third-party transport has been booked. These details are set out in the written quote.

Delivery and return

Unless agreed otherwise, return dates and packaging requirements are binding. Late return, damage beyond fair wear, or loss may incur additional charges up to the replacement value.

Compliance

Certain specimens and props may be subject to legal restrictions, export controls, or production-specific safety rules. Hire is always conditional on compliance with applicable law and responsible use on set.
